The Following on Fox at 8:00pm ET. Two-hour third season finale.

Southern Rites on HBO at 9:00pm ET. This is a documentary about the murder of Justin Patterson, a 22 year old black man who was shot in 2011 while trying to leave the home of a white friend. The story originated with a New York Times photographer who was there to capture images of the segregated proms still happening in that area of the country, but she ended up finding a much clearer picture of the racial divide and distrust.

RuPaul’s Drag Race on Logo at 9:00pm ET.

Stalker on CBS at 9:00pm ET. First season finale. This will also be the series finale, because the show was not renewed. Thank god.

The Bachelorette on ABC at 9:01pm ET. 11th season premiere. Apparently in the first episode the male contenders will be picking from two possible bachelorettes? Has this ever happened on The Bachelor because after this weekend’s entertainment options I’m having a lot of thoughts surrounding the agency of women and giving the male contestants of The Bachelorette this option before the female contestants on The Bachelor would seem to be not great. “Hey, ladies, you have your pick of these men! Right after the men indicate which of you they would prefer to be picked by. Dress to impress!”

Genevieve Burgess has a bad habit of getting semi-invested in shows she doesn’t watch thanks to writing about TV on the internet.
