I Think His Hugs Really Would Make Anything Better
Gotham on Fox at 8:00pm ET.
The Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials 2015 on CBS at 8:00pm ET. One hour special presentation. I feel like the whole “the best commercials are on during the Super Bowl!” thing has been overblown the last few years. Maybe it’s the influence of the internet but it doesn’t seem like companies are going all out on their Super Bowl ads anymore. Luckily, so far this year it doesn’t seem like we’ve had any of those fake “banned from the Super Bowl!” “controversies” yet.
Night Will Fall on HBO at 9:00pm ET. This is a documentary based around original footage shot by Allied cameramen at concentration camps in 1945. The footage was shot for a “Factual Survey” which was going to be assembled by a team that included Alfred Hitchcock, and was originally going to be shown to Germans to prove that the camps and what happened there were real. The project ended up being abandoned, but this documentary revisits some of the men who worked on it and the prisoners who were filmed, as well as original footage from the shoot.
Jane the Virgin on The CW at 9:00pm ET. I’m not super thrilled with where the new wrench they’ve thrown between Xo and Rogelio, and don’t understand why Alba is so thrilled that her daughter gave up her unchaste ways JUST as she gets involved with a guy who seems to really love and respect her. But it’s a soap. There needs to be a contrivance keeping them apart, I suppose.
Sleepy Hollow on Fox at 9:00pm ET.
Genevieve Burgess only wants the best things for Rogelio.
