Time Scanners: St.Paul’s Cathedral on PBS at 8:00pm ET.
Married At First Sight on FYI at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere. I’ve seen ads for this all over the internet, but I’ve never even heard of the network it’s on so I doubt most people have either. Apparently that’s what the “Biography” channel is now. The best news here is that it’s not a pure American invention, the concept comes from a popular Danish series. So for once the United States cannot be blamed for lowering the bar on television for the rest of the world. If I had any faith in reality television producers, I’d say that it was a very tongue-in-cheek response to the gay marriage debate. But, you know, I don’t and it’s clearly not.
Drunk History on Comedy Central at 10:00pm ET.
Tyrant on FX at 10:00pm ET.
The Walking Dead: Inside The Walking Dead on AMC at 10:00pm ET. This seems like a very VERY early publicity push considering the show doesn’t come back until October.
Genevieve Burgess knows that shitty reality TV is common to all nations, but somehow people only ever seem to blame the US for it.
