I Firmly Believe that Birds Aren't Trained, They Just Decide to Cooperate

Survivor on CBS at 8:00pm ET.

Nova: Inside Animals Minds on PBS at 9:00pm ET. This episode is titled “Bird Genius” and I know that there’s some of you who find those tiny dinosaurs creepy, so fair warning. For the rest of you, I’d anticipate this show being heavy on the creepier birds, like crows.

Women of Homicide on TLC at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere. A true crime series that has already gotten on my bad side by describing itself as “Solving homicides with a woman’s intuition.” Estrogen does a lot of things. One thing it does not do is allow you to identify murderers with a glance. I promise. It’d be a way more useful hormone if it did.

The Americans on FX at 10:00pm ET.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation on CBS at 10:00pm ET. This series is currently on its 14th season with number 15 already renewed by CBS. Out of the main and recurring characters, approximately 25% of the season 1 cast is still on the show. I’m betting that the only two willing to follow this dead horse all the way into the ground are George Eads and Paul Guilfoyle, but I’m betting we won’t know for at least another two seasons.

Genevieve Burgess will also mention that estrogen can not identify murders of crows. That’s all juicy temporal lobe, baby.
