Atari: Game Over on Showtime at 8:30pm ET. This is a documentary about digging up a landfill in New Mexico to try and find buried copies of the E.T. video game. It also details the video game industry at the time the copies of the game were destroyed, and why they ended up literally buried. It’s airing on Showtime, but is also showing for free via XBox Live if you have a Microsoft account.

Scandal on ABC at 9:00pm ET. The episode title has something to do with bills, so now you’ll get to see how legislation happens in TV fantasy DC: quickly, relatively competently, and with easy to understand implications. As far as how it really happens, as of right now, it just doesn’t.

Dig on USA at 10:00pm ET. I keep meaning to watch this, but because it’s on USA every time I don’t I just figure I’ll catch up when they inevitably air the whole season over a long weekend at some point. If it’s good enough for Law and Order: SVU then it’s good for USA’s stab at creating a conspiracy series.

Vikings on History at 10:00pm ET.

Louie on FX at 10:30pm ET.

Genevieve Burgess finds that the problem with programming that’s very available is that it’s easy to delay watching it.
