Arrow on The CW at 8:00pm ET.

A Poet in New York on BBCA at 8:00pm ET. This is a dramatization of the last days of Dylan Thomas’s life, which he spent in New York city before dying of alcohol related illnesses not long after his 39th birthday. Tom Hollander plays the doomed poet.

American Horror Story on FX at 10:00pm ET. What I’m hearing about this season is that Ryan Murphy took the wrong lesson away from everyone’s delight with last year’s “The Name Game.” After watching far too much of Glee I don’t know why that’s a surprise. It’s nearly impossible to write fanfic for his shows, because those things just end up actually happening.

South Park on Comedy Central at 10:00pm ET.

Key and Peele on Comedy Central at 10:30pm ET. This is their Halloween episode, which if it gives us anything even half as entertaining as the vampires sketch from last year, will be a rousing success.
