Guess They Decided to Make No Bones About It Anymore.
The Wall on NBC at 8:00pm ET. Series premiere. At first I thought NBC might have a daring, dystopian, politically charged drama on their hands but nope, it’s giant Plinko hosted by Chris Hardwick.
The Mick on Fox at 8:31pm ET. Time slot premiere. None of the commercials have given me any idea what the actual set up for the show is, so as best I can tell, Sweet Dee from It’s Always Sunny married a rich dude and is now trying to take care of some kids? Seems risky since the only way the assholes of It’s Always Sunny are even remotely tolerable is when their schemes only ruin their own lives. Not the lives of (mostly) innocent children. And even still, it’s an asshole bar too high for me.
Fresh Off the Boat on ABC at 9:00pm ET. Third season winter premiere.
Bones: The Final Chapter on Fox at 9:01pm ET. 12th season premiere. They’ve renamed this last series of 12 episodes to reassure us all that it’s really and truly the actual last season. Unlike those other times they just THOUGHT it was the last season and then Fox got into the good drugs and was like, “What the hell? Let’s bring back that lady scientist and her hot cop friend. Oh, and her saucy boss with the most ridiculous lab-wear outside of original flavor CSI!” It’s really for real the last season this time. Also, I’ll see myself out for that headline pun.
Billy on the Street on TruTV at 10:30pm ET. I’m mostly listing this because John Oliver is on this episode and I know some of you are missing his delightful face on your television set.
