Bear vs. Shark on Discovery at 8:00pm ET. Hey, it’s Shark Week! They totally haven’t run out of ideas to makes sharks seem extreme and dangerous in between reminding us all how fragile and endangered they are during the commercial breaks. This is presumably not about the band Bear vs. Shark but rather about the hypothetical “who would win in a battle between bear and shark” which depends heavily on what kind of bear and what kind of shark.

Claws on TNT at 9:00pm ET.

Pose on FX at 9:00pm ET. First season finale. This has been renewed for a second season and will be coming back sometime in 2019.

Sharp Objects on HBO at 9:00pm ET.

Ghosted on Fox at 9:30pm ET. First season finale. So, this show premiered in October with 10 episodes, 6 more were ordered so the first run of episodes stopped in January and picked up in early June. In late June the show was cancelled, and now we’re getting the season and series finale in late July. Feels like everyone involved with the decisions on this show really knew what they were doing at all times.
