Finally, a Major Network Gets That Children Are Super Creepy
So You Think You Can Dance on Fox at 8:00pm ET. 11th season premiere.
The Lion’s Mouth Opens on HBO at 9:00pm ET. This is a documentary about a young woman finding out whether or not she inherited Huntington’s Disease. Marianna Palka lost her father to the disease, and this film documenting her bringing her friends and family to her as she waits to find out her test results, is only 28 minutes long. So it’s 90% of Dr.Cameron’s development from House except for real and in less than half an hour.
RuPaul’s Drag Race on Logo at 9:00pm ET. Seventh season finale.
Unreal on Lifetime at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is a new series about life behind the scenes on a competitive reality dating show. So, like Burning Love but from the perspective of a production assistant rather than the competitors.
The Whispers on ABC at 10:01pm ET. Series premiere. A new paranormal series that focuses on a force using children to do its work, in the form of an “imaginary friend.” Looks like it could be creepy, but I have many doubts about them resisting the temptation to ‘reveal’ what’s behind the haunting early on.
Genevieve Burgess assumes all reality shows are horrible behind the scenes and force you to treat people like dangerous psychological experiments.
