Examining the Afterlife Requires Lots of Paper

FIFA Women’s World Cup on Fox at 7:45pm ET. The US is playing Nigeria in Vancouver tonight. So far they’ve won their match against Australia and tied with Sweden, so they’re in good position to move out of the group stage already, but another win would be nice to see.

America’s Got Talent on NBC at 8:00pm ET. This is something called an “Extreme Audition” so I’m not sure if that means that it’s “extreme” acts or that the acts have to perform under “extreme” circumstances. I’m not curious enough to watch and find out, but I’m sure Nick Cannon will be able to tell you all about it.

2015 NBA Finals: Game 6 on ABC at 9:00pm ET. The Warriors could take it tonight. Keep your fingers crossed, LeBron haters.

Proof on TNT at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. This new series, starring Jennifer Beales, is centered around the question of what happens to us after we die. It sounds less than interesting, but I guess it’s summer and that’s a decent time for finding new “background TV.”

Tyrant on FX at 10:00pm ET. Second season premiere.

Genevieve Burgess will soon premiere “extreme blogging” where she has to write up descriptions of new shows without the assistance of Google.
