What Discovery Channel is Baiting You With to Get You to Watch the Same Hour of Shark Footage Again
Beat Shazam on Fox at 8:00pm ET.
Battle of the Network Stars on ABC at 9:00pm ET.
Hooten and the Lady on The CW at 9:00pm ET. As we head into the dregs of summer and I’m down to bare bones on my regular TV viewing, can anyone tell me if this is silly fun? Because I can get behind silly fun. If it’s just dumb then I can’t get down with that.
Shark Storm on Discovery at 10:00pm ET. One-hour special presentation. You remember when you were a kid and you learned one joke and then you told that joke over and over and over again, maybe in slightly different ways, and were confused when people stopped laughing at it? I feel like the internet is doing that to modern media. “Hey, people got a kick out of that Sharknado movie! Bet they’d get a kick out of six more and a Discovery special that uses ridiculous logic leaps and about 40 minutes of old shark footage loosely based around it!” No, we will not get a kick out of that. Please stop.
Date Night on Lifetime at 10:02pm Et. Series premiere. This is a reality show where you watch people go on dates. That’s it.
