Dear Supergirl, We're All Rooting For You
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend on The CW at 8:00pm ET.
Roanoke: Search for the Lost Colony on History at 8:00pm ET. I like how the idea that something mysterious happened to the colonists at Roanoke is so persistent, like new colonists in strange places always do so well and don’t succumb to illnesses/starvation/simple ignorance of the land and all die.
Supergirl on CBS at 8:31pm ET. Series premiere. Everybody cross your fingers and hold your breath that someone with two brain cells to rub together was in charge of this property. I have no special feelings about Supergirl herself but I very much want someone to make a good thing about lady heroes. I don’t even mind the skirt. Tennis players wear skirts, as do field hockey players (I mean, “kilts”, but come on), skirts can be athletic/world-saving attire.
How to Dance in Ohio on HBO at 9:00pm ET. This is a documentary about three autistic girls being taught social interaction skills so they can attend prom. I do not envy whoever is attempting to teach autistic teenagers proper teenage girl social interaction skills. I’m neurotypical and I barely made it through high school, socially speaking.
Fargo on FX at 10:00pm ET.
