MLB Special: World Series Game #1 on Fox at 7:30pm ET. I have to tell you guys, I legitimately forget that this happens around this time every year. Like, baseball beyond mid-October is a concept I have to reacquaint myself with every time it happens. Like remembering to look the other way to cross the street when I’m in the UK, or what happens when I drink without eating first. Of course, I grew up an Orioles fan, so it’s not really surprising that post-season baseball is a strange and confusing concept.
Marvel’s Agents of Shield on ABC at 9:00pm ET.
Chrisley Knows Best on USA at 10:00pm ET. I really try hard not to judge the TV habits of others, because god knows I have some embarrassing TV viewing quirks myself, but I genuinely do not understand the appeal of this show. It’s just, like, some well-to-do Southern family, right? There’s not even the barest whiff of possible celebrity, so 1. how did they get a reality show? and 2. why do people care? I barely understand why people care about the Kardashians, but at least they had some notoriety before their reality show started. This, I don’t get at all.
Person of Interest on CBS at 10:00pm ET.
Sons of Anarchy on FX at 10:00pm ET. I realize that a lot of people are dying this season, but from what I’ve heard the death we should all mourn most is that of the editor of this show. RIP, poor unnamed editor, and thank you for your previous efforts to reign this beast into a regular 44 minute time slot.
Genevieve Burgess really enjoys misappropriating pop song lyrics.
