"Can You Say 'Rapidly Shifting Financial Models'? You Can!"
Arrow on The CW at 8:00pm ET.
Do Not Disturb: Hotel Horros on ID at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere. Looks like the murder channel (well, one of the murder channels) is trying to get in on all that juicy scary hotel action that American Horror Story is making popular again. Of course, the ID version will be at once less polished and more terrifying because while real crimes that have happened in hotels tend not to be as visually interesting or as supernaturally tinged as the ones on AHS they are, after all, REAL.
Empire on Fox at 9:00pm ET. I like that the way they’ve chosen to introduce drama this season is by having some of the characters attempt to spin off their own record label instead of actually introducing the dramatic financial realities of running a record label in the current time period. Unless they are somehow running one of the top tier record labels in their fictional version of America with only a handful of artists on the roster, it is not the kind of business that could keep the Lyons in fur, mansions, and large fancy dinners that they can freely waste any longer.
American Horror Story on FX at 10:00pm ET.
You’re the Worst on FXX at 10:30pm ET.
