America’s Next Top Model on VH1 at 8:00pm ET. This show came up the other day when I was talking to my sister about how terrible I’d be at reality television, which I realized when a college roommate told me I should audition for this. I am very certain that the casting department is not looking for people who react to inter-house drama by saying “Whatever, I’m gonna go read.”

The Flash on The CW at 8:00pm ET. Fourth season winter premiere.

Black Lightning on The CW at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere. The CW has another new superhero series, this one centering around a former superhero who had retired to take care of his family. Years later, he is forced back into the costume as local gang “The One Hundred” starts causing increased violence in the community. There’s been a lot of superhero shows lately, and this one sounds like it’s going for a very different tone than “Hot, fabulously wealthy young man becomes vigilante,” so that’s a nice change of pace. The description I read sounds like there will be a lot of focus on Black Lightning’s family, not just crime fighting.

Black-ish on ABC at 9:00pm ET.

Kevin (Probably) Saves the World on ABC at 10:00pm ET.
