Because Sunday Night Wasn't Bloody Enough

Madam Secretary on CBS at 8:00pm ET. First season finale. I’m not sure if it’s Tea Leoni’s voice or an actual acting decision, but she CONSTANTLY sounds exhausted or exasperated in this show. Like she’d rather be doing ANYTHING else and it really does not give me a lot of faith in her character’s convictions.

Game of Thrones on HBO at 9:00pm ET. We’re headed back to Dorne tonight to meet the Sand Snakes! It’s an exciting moment.

Last Man on Earth on Fox at 9:30pm ET. First season finale. I’m really glad to have a new contender in the competition to see what series can outgrow its name the quickest.

Mad Men on AMC at 10:00pm ET.

Penny Dreadful on Showtime at 10:00pm ET. Second season premiere. I heard a lot about the first season for a while, and then basically nothing, and I still have no idea what it’s really about besides Eva Green being beautiful and crazy. Honestly, that might be enough for me to see about it.

Genevieve Burgess hopes that someone can get the Secretary of State a latte and a few minutes for a nap before the finale.
