Bob’s Burgers on Fox at 7:00pm ET. Fourth season finale.
2014 Billboard Music Awards on ABC at 8:00pm ET.
Call the Midwife on PBS at 8:00pm ET. Third season finale.
Game of Thrones on HBO at 9:00pm ET. There’s no episode next week because I guess HBO thinks that barbecues and a show that frequently features people being flayed and burned don’t really go together. I have my suspicions that we’ll be getting a couple tiny cliff-hangers to take us over the break, but we’ll see.
The Good Wife on CBS at 9:00pm ET. Fifth season finale. And just as quickly as all the good TV was on Sunday night and we all had to make terrible choices when it came to the DVR queue, this confusing and occasionally infuriating abundance of quality television departs our lives. Well, sort of. You’ve still got Mad Men and Game of Thrones as well as Veep for you people who are into that sort of thing, but we are losing this, Bob’s Burgers and the neglected but ever so polite Call the Midwife tonight. On the one hand, getting to bed at a decent hour just got easier. On the other, welcome to crap summer replacement TV!
Genevieve Burgess was in Ireland all last week, so points to you if you actually noticed the absence.
