The Goldbergs on ABC at 8:00pm ET. Fourth season winter premiere. I don’t think you should get to call it a new “premiere” unless you took a two month hiatus.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on NBC at 9:00pm ET. 18th season winter premiere.

NOVA: Vampire Sky Tombs on PBS at 9:00pm ET. 44th season premiere. Alright, NOVA, that is one hell of an attention grabbing headline for a PBS documentary series. I’ll bite. *Googles* Oh, dammit, it’s just Tibetan tombs way up in the Himalayas with evidence of rituals designed to WARD OFF vampires. Booo. Still a better vampire story than Twilight.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia on FXX at 10:00pm ET. 12th season premiere. I’m currently reading Mara Wilson’s book and she just says the NICEST things about Danny DeVito, which is going to give me so much disorientation the next time I’m forced to watch this show.

Vivica’s Black Magic on Lifetime at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is a series about Vivica Fox creating an “all-male urban exotic dance troupe” and trying to get them a residency in Las Vegas. For those of you who have seen the towering achievement of cinema that is Magic Mike XXL, this is basically the origin story for Jada Pinkett Smith’s character Rome. Kudos to Ms.Fox for getting Lifetime to fund such a magical endeavor.
