Bob’s Burgers on Fox at 7:30pm ET. Seventh season premiere.

Poldark on PBS at 8:00pm ET. Two-hour second season premiere. For those of you who are fans of this, Nicole Cliffe formerly of The Toast will be recapping it this season. The only thing I know about it is that it seems to produce a lot of screen grabs of men standing shirtless in fields holding scythes which seems nice.

Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown on CNN at 9:00pm ET. Eighth season premiere. This will be the episode featuring President Obama. Bourdain has written about how the episode came to be if you’re curious. It turns out that most people even on the production team didn’t know until the day before, and CNN didn’t know at all.

Ballers on HBO at 10:00pm ET. Second season finale.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO at 11:15pm ET. Hey, guess who’s back right before the first debate? Bit unfortunate that we’ll have to wait a full six days before they get a chance to cover those, but it should give them the time they like to really dig into the issues other outlets seem to ignore.
