5 Shows After Dark: I Have No Idea if This Show is Good, I Just Like Listening to Idris Elba

“So You Think You Can Dance” on Fox at 8:00pm ET.

“Whose Line Is It Anyway” on The CW at 8:00pm ET. I kind of want to see how many show titles I can find that are questions, now that I’ve got two in a row.

“My Big Fat Revenge” on Oxygen at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere. So, everything about this show makes me want to crawl into the loving arms of alcohol: on this show, women who are overweight “shed pounds” for the explicit purpose of going back to people who have slighted them somehow and “standing up” to them. I mean, if people are making positive changes in their life then the reasons they’re making the changes aren’t important and as someone with an Irish background I do understand the concept of a grudge, but watching it on TV? This whole thing just gives me kind of a rotten feeling for a lot of reasons I’m probably not articulating especially well.

“Cold Justice” on TNT at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is a new reality series from Dick Wolf that follows a former prosecutor and a CSI who work to solve cold cases, specifically murder cases. It sounds like it will be sort of gut-wrenching, but I know there’s some of you that like that sort of thing.

“Luther” on BBCA at 10:00pm ET. Third season premiere. Wooo! All the British readers and readers with no scruples about illegal downloading already know how this goes so try not to spoil it for the rest of us.
