5 Shows After Dark: Now I Want to Hear Morgan Freeman Say "You Mad, Bro?"
“Big Brother” on CBS at 8:00pm ET. Apparently, some people on the show have felt comfortable making disgustingly racist remarks in front of the cameras that are on all the time. They’ve also apparently lost their jobs for this. I’m tempted to watch whatever “after the dust settles” special just to watch these people be flabbergasted that the things they said on national television might actually have an affect on their lives. But then I’d have to break my perfect streak of never watching “Big Brother.” It’s a conundrum.
“The Bridge” on FX at 10:00pm ET. I’m getting the sense that I more want to like this show than I actually like it. I mean, I’ll keep watching for now, but I’m not making any long term plans, you know? Those relationships always end in heartbreak.
“The Real World/Road Rules Challenge” on MTV at 10:00pm ET.
“Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman” on Science at 10:00pm ET. Fourth season finale. I try to give this show the benefit of the doubt because I do believe they’re trying to get people more engaged in science, but this episode s called “Did God Create Evolution?” and that’s just stirring the hornet’s nest. They want to make EVERYONE angry, and will probably get their wish. Troll hard, Science channel.
“Camps” on NBC at 10:01pm ET.
Genevieve Burgess guesses there’s a lot more money in pissing people off than making them happy these days. Unless you’re a “Big Brother” contestant, anyway.
