“American Ninja Warrior” on NBC at 8:00pm ET.
“The Cheshire Murders” on HBO at 9:00pm ET. This is a documentary about the home invasion/robbery/sexual assault/arson/murders that happened in Cheshire, Connecticut in 2007. As you can imagine, it will probably be rough. Some of the documentary also looks at what might happen to the perpetrators who were sentenced to death just as Connecticut looked like it would be abolishing the death penalty.
“Siberia” on NBC at 10:00pm ET. This has been on for like a month now and I still have no actual idea of what it’s about. I mean, I could probably figure it out if I actually watched it, but where’s the fun in that?
“Supermarket Superstar” on Lifetime at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. A new reality series hosted by Stacey Keibler where home chefs compete for the chance to get their product on supermarket shelves. The description of the show involves language about how tough it will be for them to refine their products to meet the strict standards of real-life consumer focus groups, so it’s sure to be a gripping series. I know when I think of things I want to watch for entertainment “focus group testing” is pretty high on the list.
“Under the Dome” on CBS at 10:00pm ET. Think I’m tapping out on this one. If you’ve got a good reason why I shouldn’t, make your argument in the comments.
Genevieve Burgess is a little impressed that ‘American Ninja Warrior’ has held on this long.
