“E Special: Oz: The Great and Powerful” on E at 8:00pm ET. I realize that this is like, the last problem this movie has but every time I see a commercial for it, I keep wondering how all three of the lead actresses keep ending up in the middle of the woods or outdoors in these beautifully put together outfits and perfect makeup. Like, I could walk out of the house looking that well-arranged, but by the time I got to the meadow in the middle of the forest I’d be all wilted and sweating my makeup off and probably would have ripped my chic hat on a branch. Like I said, far from the biggest problem, but I fixate on odd details. And yes, I know it’s a movie. Thank you for pointing that out.
“Glee” on Fox at 9:30pm ET. Special time, because god knows that “American Idol” needs a whole hour and a half to tell you who the finalists are. Or, they need 5 minutes to tell you who the finalists are, but they also need 30 minutes to feed the egos of the judges, 20 minutes to spend on dramatic close-ups of the contestants, 15 minutes for us to gawk at Ryan Seacrest’s attempts at looking like a human, and the other 20 minutes for commercials. It’s probably more than 20 minutes, but I’m trying to be nice. Anyway, looks like we’re getting another unwanted pregnancy plot line on “Glee” since they’re basically rehashing the entire first season anyway. Wheeeeeee!
“Archer” on FX at 10:00pm ET.
“Immortalized” on AMC at 10:00pm ET.
“King of the Nerds” on TBS at 10:00pm ET. First season finale. I have heard people say that this show was actually kinder than I thought it would be, and didn’t have the “check out the weirdos” tone I assumed they would take. Has anyone watched the whole season?
Genevieve Burgess still can’t spell “Seacrest” right on her first try.
