5 Shows After Dark

“Raising Hope” on Fox at 8:00pm ET. Since “Glee” is on break to give us all time to reflect on its emotionally manipulative ways and swear that once again we will just end the relationship for good in a cycle eerily reminiscent of actual high school relationships, the Fox Tuesday night schedule has seen some rearranging. “New Girl” is on at the same time, though, so you’re all safe there.

“Cougar Town” on ABC at 8:30pm ET.

“Breaking In” on Fox at 9:30pm ET. Second season premiere. This is the first Christian Slater focused TV show to go more than one season after the fizzle that was “My Own Worst Enemy” and the slightly longer fizzle that was “The Forgotten”. Apparently this one is sticking around for… at least another four or five episodes. Maybe.

“Justified” on FX at 10:00pm ET.

“Southland” on TNT at 10:00pm ET. In case you prefer your grittily realistic law enforcement drama to be more urban than country fried.
