The Zombie Lord Jesus is risen and He has brought with Him a bounty of excellent television. Praise the lord and pass the popcorn. Happy Easter, everyone!
“Doctor Who: The Companions” on BBCA at 7:00pm ET. There’s a couple “Doctor Who” specials on tonight for you Whovians. I know you’ve already got a new episode from last night to talk about, though, so if you want to start chatting in the comments go ahead.
“Call the Midwife” on PBS at 8:00pm ET. Second season premiere. And after this there’s a new series premiering called “Mr.Selfridge” about the man who founded Selfridges. So much delightful British period drama!
“Game of Thrones” on HBO at 9:00pm ET. Third season premiere. IT’S HERE! You know what I spent yesterday doing? Standing in line for hours to see some of the “Game of Thrones” costumes and props in real life, and sit on the Iron Throne. Totally worth it. I’m super excited for this season. Though, for non-book readers, I will encourage you to form your support groups for the season early on. You will need them. There is a LOT coming your way. This season is dark and full of terrors.
“The Good Wife” on CBS at 9:00pm ET.
“The Walking Dead” on AMC at 9:00pm ET. Third season finale.
Genevieve Burgess claimed the Iron Throne for approximately ten seconds. Then it was someone else’s turn.
