“Bones” on Fox at 8:00pm ET. Because the writers have not pissed off the fans enough by 1. Keeping Booth and Brennan apart for about a season longer than necessary and 2. Having their courtship be short and mostly off screen now they’re going to give our stalwart atheist of a main character religion. From the previews they’ve shown Brennan having some sort of out of body experience that causes her to change her beliefs and I feel certain that if she did, she would immediately find a reasonable, scientific explanation for why out of body experiences happen and continue about her day. I don’t know, maybe they’re tired of having their character display consistent characterization and are just going to re-write the show, one individual at a time.
“Westminster Kennel Club Show: Night 1” on CNBC at 8:00pm ET. Tonight we get the Hound, Toy, Non-Sporting, and Herding Groups. I’m sure this matters to some of you who are aware of specific breeds and which groups they fall into. For the 90% of you who just like watching so you can go “Doggies! Whose a good boy? You’re a good boy! Oh, girl! You’re such a good girl, look at you!” I encourage you to pace yourself, tonight’s doggie exhibition is three hours long.
“The BET Honors” on BET at 9:00pm ET.
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” on Logo at 9:00pm ET.
“Bang Goes the Theory” on BBCA at 10:20pm ET. Series premiere. As usual with shows on the BBCA, this is an American premiere not a true premiere. This British series investigates the role that science plays in our everyday lives. Sort of a more applicable version of “Mythbusters” from what I can gather in five minutes of internet research. My Brit readers will correct me if I’m wrong.
Genevieve Burgess would very much like it if you bought her book. Please?
