“I Get That A Lot” on CBS at 8:00pm ET. This is a show where “celebrities” go out and about, pretending to be not-celebrities and seeing who notices. But if someone DOES notice, they just go “I get that a lot” until the end of the segment when the cameras are revealed. Which is kind of a dick move. I mean, I get it if a celebrity is out grabbing some coffee and they don’t want to deal with someone trying to take an awkward Facebook photo with them so they brush them off with a “Yeah, I get that a lot. Weird, right?” but when the whole point of the show is “LOOK! It’s celebrities! Pretending like they’re just like normal people! Isn’t that hilarious?” it’s kind of rude to lead people on until the producers decide they’ve gotten enough useable footage. Anyway, the interesting thing about this is that this episode features Larry Hagman, who died back in November. So that won’t be morbid at all.
“The 39th Annual People’s Choice Awards” on CBS at 9:00pm ET. Good news! Voting stays open right up until the show starts so hurry over and do your best to skew some categories. Though only five categories were still open and three of them were some version of “Favorite [Media] Fan Following” so it’s really like playing “death is not an option” when faced with “Favorite Music Fan Following” and choices like “Katycats, Lovatics, Belibers, Directioners, and Selenators.” (Fans of Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, One Direction, or Selena Gomez. Because I know at least one of you was wondering.)
“Suburgatory” on ABC at 9:30pm ET. Second season winter premiere.
“American Horror Story” on FX at 10:00pm ET.
“The Soup” on E at 10:00pm ET.
Genevieve Burgess will be writing the date wrong for the next two months.
