Hi, so you may notice that the name up there isn’t “Intern Rusty” anymore. That’s because I’ve decided to start writing under my own name, for a variety of reasons which will be further explained on my own blog for the curious. To hit the high points; yes, I’m a girl and no, I probably still don’t watch whatever show it is you think I should be watching. Now the important stuff, the television:

“The Firm” on NBC at 9:00pm ET. Two hour series premiere. This is based on the John Grisham book of the same name, so if it doesn’t work out expect serial version of “A Time to Kill,” “The Rainmaker,” “The Pelican Brief,” or any other Grisham novels that have already been made into movies.

“Masterpiece! Downton Abbey, Season 2” on PBS at 9:00pm ET. 42nd season premiere.

“Absolutely Fabulous” on BBCA at 10:00pm ET. Special presentation. This is actually a new episode, I checked. Break out your booze and pills, darlings!

“House of Lies” on Showtime at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. Starring Don Cheadle and Pajiba Favorite, Kristen Bell.

“Californication” on Showtime at 10:30pm ET. Fifth season premiere.
