5 Shows After Dark

“Mistletoe Over Manhattan” on Hallmark. Original telefilm. It has begun. I sometimes wonder if the spike in incidents of depression that happens around the holidays is related to the fact that it seems like every year we spend longer ‘getting ready’ for Christmas and yet every year Christmas is still just one day that can’t possibly live up to all the expectations we’ve been told to place on it. Or maybe it’s that hearing the same five Christmas songs everywhere you go for two months would drive anyone nuts.

“Sunday Night Football: Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers” on NBC at 8:15pm ET.

“Dexter” on Showtime at 9:00pm ET.

“The Walking Dead” on AMC at 9:00pm ET.

“Hell on Wheels” on AMC at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. For all of you railroad enthusiasts out there who think that what your hobby needed to get it into the mainstream is a gritty drama full of intrigue and (I’m certain, despite the fact that railroad workers were almost exclusively men) sexual betrayals. Good luck with that. Starring Anson Mount and Common.

Please remember to check your local listings for all times and channels.

Intern Rusty is contemplating a new internet moniker. You can find out more about her at Rusty’s Ventures and get makeup tips from her at Hot Ink.
