5 Shows After Dark
“Saint Misbehavin’: The Wavy Gravy Movie” on Showtime at 7:55pm ET.
“Thursday Night Football: New York Jets at Denver Broncos” on NFL Network at 8:00pm ET. The return of Thursday night football has seriously screwed with my internal schedule with regards to updating my fantasy line up. Any other fantasy players out there having that problem or does my audience not include the football fans so much?
“Private Practice” on ABC at 9:00pm ET. Seriously, ABC? You do a cliff hanger on “Grey’s Anatomy” last week only to follow it up with back to back episodes of this shit? Not that I’m going to even attempt to defend the fact that I watch “Grey’s Anatomy” because 1. why bother and 2. I’m not a Nielsen household so you can’t blame me for ruining television, but I swear it looks like Shakespeare next to “Private Practice.” At least most of the characters on “Grey’s” have by and large gotten to the point of actually dealing with their shit even if it took them 8 years, every time I drop in on “Private Practice” it seems more like someone has been slipping meth into the water supply.
“Big Shrimpin’” on History at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. I wish I was joking.
“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” on FX at 10:00pm ET.
