When comedy helmer Taika Waititi took the helm of Thor: Ragnarok, there were doubters. There were those who didn’t understand how the tale of the God of Thunder and almighty Avenger would fit with the comedy stylings of the genius who brought us What We Do In The Shadows. During San Diego Comic Con, Waititi gifted crowds with a cheeky taste of worlds colliding, debuting an exclusive video that detailed what Thor was up to during the events of Captain America: Civil War. Buzz on the video was so good it had those of us who missed it (raises hand, weeps uncontrollably) cursing the gods. But Marvel surprised Thor fans by releasing the vid on Twitter last night.
Check it out, and meet the unsung hero of the MCU, Thor’s tech-savvy roommate Darryl.
