'Deadpool' May Get A Former Prostitute Or Possibly An Inmate As His Lady Love

Deadpool has a star (Ryan Reynolds), a release date (February 12, 2016), a filming location (Vancouver), and now it might be getting an object for the Merc’s affections. According to Deadline, these six women are on the short list to romance Deadpool and the voices inside his head.

Morena Baccarin - Known for Firefly, Gotham, and V

I don’t know that she would be the best fit opposite Wade Wilson, but she appears to be the best of this pack. That is in no way an endorsement.

Taylor Schilling - Known for Orange Is The New Black

I only know Schilling from her role as Piper. I cannot take Piper in more than short spurts here and there, so I’m not exactly jumping at the prospect of her jumping Deadpool.

Jessica De Gouw - Known for Arrow

I’ve never seen this actress in action. She’s pretty. Um. Moving on.

Crystal Reed - Known for Teen Wolf

The actresses just keep getting younger and younger, which is grossing me out. Again, I haven’t seen Reed in action. I hope I don’t see her in this movie.

Sarah Greene - Known for Vikings

This Irish actress has no birthdate listed on IMDB, but she looks young as well. At any rate, she acted on Broadway opposite Daniel Radcliffe and was nominated for a Tony Award. This does not seem like a good fit for her.

Rebecca Rittenhouse - Known for…Red Band Society?

What in the hell? Who is casting this? If I have to choose between these six actresses, I have to give the win to Morena. I guess? Ugh. BRING ME GEMMA ARTERTON! OR GILLIAN JACOBS! Rachel Nichols?
