Charlie Cox Would Like His Invitation to Marvel's Infinity Ball, Please

This is Charlie Cox.

You might have seen him being adorably romantic in Stardust,

or as Margaret’s lover on Boardwalk Empire.

More recently, you may recall him from a little Netflix show called Daredevil. He had a memorable scene or two.

Okay, full disclosure; he actually plays the titular superhero.

Charlie is waiting by his mailbox. Email, snail mail, cell phone, landline, courier, Fedex, UPS; he doesn’t care who delivers the invite.

You see, Charlie heard about this big Marvel shindig, and all the cool superheroes are supposed to be in attendance.

He heard people are getting all dressed up in their finest costumes, and there may even be a raffle for these Infinity Stone or Gem things; maybe you put them in your hilt or something? This Thanos guy seems to have bedazzled his brass knuckles after he won them last year (I presume).

Speaking with ET, Cox conveyed a hopeful optimism that he’d be asked to the Infinity Ball.

“I have not received that call! Could you imagine? That would be the coolest thing ever.

Marvel TV and Marvel Studios are two very different things. So even if the character were to appear in that film, that doesn’t necessarily mean that I would appear in that film. I will pick a fight with the guy that they choose!

That would be a dream. But that is not something that has been discussed with me at this point.”

C’mon, are you kidding me?

Anyway, Charlie’s all suited up and ready to go, so Marvel? It’s on you.

What’s that? Oh, not Infinity Ball, Infinity WAR, you say? Sorry, my mistake. He’d like to come to that, too.

Daredevil returns to Netflix March 18th; Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1 is headed to theaters May 4, 2018 (leaving plenty of time for Charlie’s invitation to arrive).
