Hello! This may look like a duplicate post to one you saw last night, but I assure you it is NOT! See, the post last night was for everyone, whereas this post is specifically for book readers and/or spoiler nuts who want to talk about things from the books, things that haven’t happened on the show yet, and other things that people might prefer to remain in the dark about. This is your last warning, here there be spoilers.

This season may be an uncomfortable one for book readers, as we’ll be departing from the books in a big way. People are where they’re aren’t supposed to be, characters have been cut, and storylines have been shifted up or discarded entirely. Benioff and Weiss are creating story out of information that only they have, and we just have to trust them that it’ll line up with whatever we’ll eventually read in Winds of Winter. That doesn’t mean we can’t make guesses based on which plots have been cut and which have been included.

My biggest takeaway (so far, I’m sure I’ll have more to say as I watch more): It looks like they’ve eliminated Aegon, going by Vary’s “Who said anything about ‘him’?” to Tyrion. I’m super happy about this. I know Aegon’s storyline is teaching us things about the Golden Company and Connington’s history and other things that might be important later, but I’ve been yelling “FRAUD!” at that kid since he showed up. I’m pretty sure he’s Magister Illyrio’s son with his dead Lyseni wife who hands he keeps all creepily. Anyway, add your wild speculations below!
