Fans of Game of Thrones are a suspicious bunch, and with good reason. The show runners and actors are notorious for working to deceive, inveigle, and obfuscate. Sometimes they flat-out lie. So we’re used to watching for other hints and clues, examining social media to see where important actors are or what their hair looks like so we can discern what they may be doing. Which is something that Jason Momoa definitely knew when he started an Instagram journey a few days ago:

What? Jason Momoa is in Belfast? Saying that he’s home? Well, I guess they did film some of the Dothraki scenes from the first season in Ireland. Bit weird that he tagged Guinness but it is pretty great there. And that “ALOHA DROGO” is pretty suggestive, could be something to watch …

*incoherent squealing and gibbering*

HE BROUGHT HIS WHOLE FAMILY WITH HIM?!? Could he be staying there for a while? WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?!?

😝😝😝😜😜🍻🍻build muscles drink @Guinness

I… huh. Well, Guinness IS pretty great.

So, he’s got a special Guinness blend now?

I'm in awe. 😜😜😜😜a sour my favourite. Made by my favourite @guinnessus

Jason Momoa has his own Guinness, is probably not on Game of Thrones this season. Well, that’s pretty cool too, I guess. *kicks rock*

Da MANO. Luckiest man on earth Ohana @guinnessus

Oh, who can stay mad at that face for long? And he’s just so happy!

Safety first. Let's make beer. Mahalo @guinnessus

So, to review: Khal Drogo is almost certainly not coming back from being dead. Again. But he is promoting a new brew of Guinness so that’s kind of exciting. Still, points for probably sending thousands of nerds across the globe scrambling for their inhalers.
