All the Spoiler Warnings are coming, but first, let me say that both these on-set sightings for Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead are just that, sightings and speculative rumors. But since they involve possible upcoming series storylines, we’ll treat them as spoilers.
First up, the supercool Game of Thrones rumors/possible Spoilers.
We’ve heard a fair bit about the possibility of a Kingsmoot, and on Tuesday, WotW confirmed the casting of Pilou Asbæk as Euron Greyjoy. Here comes the Spoilery part; in addition to Alfie Allen aka Theon Greyjoy, and Gemma Whelan aka Yara (aka Asha) Greyjoy apparently joining Euron for filming of a reported “big scene” in Ballintoy, Northern Ireland (Reek is free?)
another Greyjoy is reportedly in the mix.
And screw you guys who like to crap all over Feast, because what is dead may never die, and I’m very excited that quite possibly one of my favorite Ice and Fire characters is going to show up. WotW says Aeron Greyjoy has already been cast and seen filming with Euron. They claim you can catch a glimpse of the unknown actor with long, white hair here, but I can’t see a thing:
Still, this — combined with shots of filming near Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge:
would seem to confirm ***Book Spoiler ahead! Swipe to see: Balon’s death scene (end Book Spoiler) and a Kingsmoot are coming.
Next up, ***Spoileriffic rumors of a major character’s Walking Dead arrival.
Spoiling Dead reports Paul Monroe aka Jesus (!) is on location shooting scenes with The Walking Dead’s Rick and Daryl. The unknown actor playing Jesus is described as 5’11” and blonde, and the scene is described thusly:
“They meet up at the store. Jesus (at least someone matching the comic look) is there first. Rick pulls up, Daryl’s bike pulls up. The car door slams really loud. First, Rick yells followed by Daryl yelling. Rick says something, and Daryl yells ‘DAMN IT, RICK!!’ then Jesus runs toward them. There are lines between the actors, and Jesus says ‘We’ve gotta go, we’ve got seven minutes’ or ‘We’ve gotta go, I’ve got seven minutes.’ No physical fight was actually seen, but you could hear the tension/intent.”
Not having read the comics myself, I’ll have to defer to expert commenters over whether or not I should be excited by Jesus (that doesn’t sound right).
And those are all the spoileriffic rumors fit to
