Cersei and Jaime Lannister's Relationship Will Get Even 'Weirder' and 'Darker' This Year on 'Game of Thrones'

Jamie and Cersei are brother and sister who have children together; they pushed Bran out of a window and tried to kill him when the kid spotted them having sex; and Jamie basically raped his sister next to the corpse of their incestuous son.

Somehow, however, this season their relationship will get ever weirder on Game of Thrones, as Lena Headey tells EW.

“Her relationship with Jaime is at an all-time weird level,” says Headey. “It’s juicy, and it’s so f-king dark.”

I have no idea how that relationship gets even weirder, unless they start putting their own dead children in their, uh, marital bed, but we are seriously looking forward to what the showrunners call their best season yet, which will feature a huge, unprecedented battle sequence and so. much. killing.

Meanwhile, Joanna says that we’ll soon get to see the Night’s King swing his ice sword.
