You better watch out. You better not cry. You better not pout, I’m telling you why: Wrinkles the Clown will come to your home to scare the ever-loving sh*t out of you.
When I first heard the premise of the Fantastic Fest offering Wrinkles The Clown, I mistakenly assumed it was another killer clown feature riffing off the nightmares born from Stephen King’s It. I’d missed the part about it being an actual documentary.
That is until its chilling trailer hit, revealing some twisted truths and unnerving footage:
Here’s the official logline for Wrinkles The Clown:
Pennywise isn’t real. But Wrinkles is. This documentary explores the story of the infamous freaky clown from Naples, Florida who makes a living being hired by parents to terrorize their naughty children.
What do you think? Would you be a parent who’d employ a Wrinkles visit to scare an unruly child straight? Are you repulsed by the idea of hiring a mysterious clown to creep on your kids? Would you dare call the number? Do you dare learn more about the man behind the mask?
Wrinkles The Clown will make its World Premiere this weekend at Fantastic Fest.
