Last night, the Wonder Woman embargo lifted, unleashing a flood of rave reviews. While more critics will be seeing the film ahead of its release Friday, the first female-fronted film of the DC Extended Universe currently stands at an impressively high 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Take a look at how it stacks up against the rest of the DCEU:

Wonder Woman’s long-awaited solo venture has bested every other Superman movie too.

She even beat the beloved LEGO Batman, and every entry of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy.

Not to mention every X-Men movie, including Logan and Deadpool (84%), and all the Spider-Men movies.

Right now, Wonder Woman is even rocking a higher RT score than every Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. Here’s the top four:

So the superhero movie that not only dared to center on a woman (Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman), but also to have a female director (Patty Jenkins) is currently winning more praise than any other live-action superhero movie. The only superhero movie that currently tops it—remember not all the reviews are in—is The Incredibles, by a hair!

Wonder Woman has also been voted the most anticipated movie of the summer by Fandango, despite a sparse—and at times downright embarrassingad campaign, and the scandal that erupted when one movie theater chain offered a handful of women-only screenings of the film. The joke is on the red-pill popping MRA whiners on that one. The “controversy” they created made international headlines, spurring women-only screenings to sell out over and over, sparking the demand for more, and giving the Alamo Drafthouse the kind of free advertising even massive corporations would kill for.

So things are looking good for Wonder Woman, director Patty Jenkins, and star Gal Gadot, to put it mildly. And if this film hits big at the box office as the hype suggests it will, maybe we can put to rest those tired cries about how the world’s not ready for women’s stories.
