Here’s the first full-length trailer for Michael Mann’s first film in eight years, the Enzo Ferrari biopic Ferrari. It stars Adam Driver, Penelope Cruz, and Shailene Woodley. The film covers Ferrari’s professional career, his marriage to Laura Domenica Garello, and his relationship with his mistress, Lina Lardi (divorce was illegal in Italy until 1975).

So Enzo Ferrari doesn’t drive the cars, he just owns the company, and they’ve got Adam Driver in a movie about drivers in which he doesn’t play a damn driver. Wow.

Ferrari premiered to fairly solid reviews from the Venice Film Festival in August. It will be released wide on Christmas. Adam Driver and Michael Mann are already working on their next feature together, a sequel to Heat.
