It’s Friday, there are trailers, blah blah — let’s just get right to it, because here’s a red band puppet trailer you HAVE to watch.

The Happytime Murders — In theaters August 17th
Looks like Brian Henson is sort of stepping out of his dad’s shadow with this one (although not that far out — Jim Henson did have that whole David Bowie/spandex crotch thing going on in Labyrinth…). Melissa McCarthy partners with a puppet to investigate the brutal murders of the fuzzy cast members of a beloved ’80s puppet TV show. Maya Rudolph, Elizabeth Banks, and Joel McHale also star in what is already basically my favorite movie ever. Make sure you stick around for the very end to see just how “red band” this trailer really is…

And in equally exciting, but less puppety news:

BLACKkKLANSMAN — In theaters August 10th
Directed by Spike Lee, produced by Jordan Peele, and starring John David Washington and Adam Driver, the film tells the unbelievable true story of the first African American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Police Department. His first order of business? Infiltrating the Ku Klux Klan. Oh, did I mention Topher Grace is playing David fucking Duke?

Also, this stuff:

Mission: Impossible — Fallout — In theaters July 27th
I mean, it’s Tom Cruise playing super-spy Ethan Hunt: doing crazy stunts, saving the world, and probably wearing a super realistic mask at some point. He’s joined once again by Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson and Michelle Monaghan, as well as a few newcomers: Angela Bassett, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Cavill, and Henry Cavill’s famous mustache.

Mile 22 — In theaters August 3
Peter Berg directs Mark Wahlberg, Lauren Cohan, Iko Uwais, Ronda Rousey and John Malkovich in a movie about a secret CIA ghost unit that’s, I dunno, gettin’ shit done from the shadows or something?

And from the always-churning Netflix content machine:

Steve Martin and Martin Short: An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Life — Streaming May 25th
These two people I’ve never even heard of seem to be friends, and they sing together and have funny character bits. I’m sure it’ll be an epic failure.

Set It Up — Streaming June 15th

Two harried assistants try to make Lucy Liu and Taye Diggs bone. I ship it.
