It’s been awhile since we’ve rounded up a week’s worth of trailers into one big dump of bite-size plot and tenuous excitement, but I’m back on my A-game, folks! My trailer-dumping A-game. I’m so in the zone that I’m probably gonna drop in some trailers from last week just ‘cuz.

I don’t, ah, have a lot of “game” really. This is basically it. You’re welcome, world.

First up, TAKE MY FUCKING MONEY, BARRY JENKINS:

If Beale Street Could Talk — In theaters this fall
Ok, so even if you don’t know what’s going on, can we just take a minute to appreciate how lyrically fucking GORGEOUS that trailer is? Because holy hell. So this is an adaptation of James Baldwin’s novel, written and directed by Moonlight’s Barry Jenkins. It tells the story of a pregnant woman (KiKi Layne) in Harlem who finds out that her lover (Stephan James) has been falsely accused of rape, and she struggles to exonerate him. The film also stars Pedro Pascal, Colman Domingo, Brian Tyree Henry, Teyonah Paris, Dave Franco and Regina King. May as well start stocking up on tissues now.

Forever — Streaming on Amazon Prime starting September 14
So, I don’t know what the hell is going on with this. Maya Rudolph and Fred Armisen are married. And they’re maybe happy? But they’re also maybe on the island from the Wicker Man movie? Or maybe it’s just all a drug experiment, or virtual reality, or just like “Malaise: The Show”. And if it turns out that it’s ALL of those things, somebody out there owes me a beer.

Lizzie — In select theaters September 14
This intense reimagining of the Borden family murders stars Chloë Sevigny as the infamous Lizzie and Kristin Stewart as her new housemaid. I’m getting the sense that mayyyyybe the family doesn’t get along? The film also stars Kim Dickens, Fiona Shaw, Jamey Sheridan, and Denis O’Hare.

King of Thieves — In theaters September 14 (at least in the UK)
Based on the daring true story of Hatton Garden robbery, this looks basically like Old Man Ocean’s Eleven — if everyone starts squabbling rather than making a clean getaway in the end. But still, Michael Caine playing Michael Caine The Thief sounds fun, and Daredevil (Charlie Cox) is in it alongside Jim Broadbent, Tom Courtenay, Michael Gambon and Ray Winstone.

Venom — In theaters October 5
In this new trailer, we get a bit more Riz (always welcome) and a LOT more of the symbiote itself. Which frankly is gonna be what makes or breaks this thing. Either that or Tom Hardy’s accent.

Camping — Premieres October 14 on HBO
Remember how Jennifer Garner and David Tennant are starring in that comedy about, uh, camping? And it’s an adaptation of a British series? And it also stars Juliette Lewis and Ione Skye? Yeah, this is that one.

Hunter Killer — In theaters October 26
GERARD BUTLER ON A BOAT, Y’ALL. Ok, it’s a submarine. And he’s saving the Russian president, who has been kidnapped? I don’t even know anymore. The movie also stars Gary Oldman, Common, Linda Cardellini, and Toby Stephens.
