A wild array of movies are coming our way. There are kid-friendly scares, quirky adventures, real-life drama, an ultraluminary pop-diva, and Richard E. Grant as the drag mom of our dreams.

Here’s our latest round-up of all the trailers you might have missed.

FAITH BASED Available on all VOD/digital outlets October 9.

Luke Barnett, Tanner Thomason, Lance Reddick, Margaret Cho, David Koechner, and Jason Alexander star in a comedy about two friends who try to exploit the fervor over Christian movies by making one of their own. Get a sense of their humor with this music video by the movie’s fictional worship band, Lambsong.

A BABYSITTER’S GUIDE TO MONSTER HUNTING Streaming on Netflix on October 15.

Based on the first installment of Joe Ballarini’s popular scary book series of the same name, this family-friendly monster movie is sort of The Babysitters Club meets Monster Squad. Bringing some old-school cool to the cast is Harry Potter’s Tom Felton as a Boogeyman known as The Grand Guignol, and helming this creepy-for-kids flick is Tank Girl director Rachel Talalay.

John Bronco Streaming on Hulu on October 15.

Walton Goggins stars alongside Tim Meadows, Tim Baltz, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Bo Derek in a comedy about “the greatest pitchman of all-time,” a man so captivating that Ford named a car after him.

OVER THE MOON Streaming on Netflix on October 23.

Glen Keane is a storied animator, who had a hand in creating Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Tangled. He makes his directorial debut with an enchanting new musical about a Chinese girl who wishes to visit the moon goddess. The voice cast boasts Kimiko Glenn, Ken Jeong, Sandra Oh, John Cho, Margaret Cho, Cathy Ang, and Hamilton’s Phillipa Soo as the moon goddess, who cuts loose like a pop star.

EMILY AND THE MAGICAL JOURNEY On Demand and DVD on November 3.

A little girl grieving her lost father stumbles onto a magical world of fairies, creatures, and witches. She may be its salvation. Harriet Slater, Chelsea Edge, and Tipper Seifert-Cleveland star.

CALL ME BROTHER In virtual theaters nationwide on November 6.

Saturday Night Live’s Andrew Diskmukes and Christina Parrish star in this coming-of-age romantic comedy with a heavy dollop of incest lust. Yeah. We warned you: WTF!

TRUE TO THE GAME 2 In theaters on November 6.

Vivica A. Fox, Andra Fuller, Erica Peeples, Niatia “Lil Mama” Kirkland, Iyana Halley, and Jeremy Meeks star in this action-thriller based on the original New York Times bestseller by Teri Woods. This sequel focuses on the fallout of a murdered kingpin. His girlfriend flees Philadelphia to start over, while his inner circle seeks vengeance.

DEAR SANTA Opening in theaters and VOD December 4.

This delightful documentary shines a light on the 100-year-old ‘Operation Santa’ Program of the United States Postal Service, through which the season of giving gives back to children in need.

HALF BROTHERS Open in theaters December 4.

Luis Gerardo Méndez and Connor Del Rio star in a road trip comedy about family ties and learning to forgive. When Renato was a boy in Mexico, his father left to build a better life for him—but never came back. Now, on the week of his wedding, the successful exec discovers not only that his dad is dying in the U.S., but also that he has a free-spirited half-brother. That’s just the start of his journey.

MANK In select theaters in November and releasing globally on Netflix on December 4.

David Fincher brings a star-stuffed cast together to tell the story of screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz, as the booze-fueled cynic finished the screenplay for Citizen Kane. Gary Oldman, Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins, and Charles Dance star.

EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE Opens in U.S. theaters on February 26, 2021.

This trailer debuted yesterday, National Coming Out Day. Based on true events and adapted from the hit West End musical, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie follows a young man on his path to becoming a drag queen. Max Harwood, Lauren Patel, and Can You Ever Forgive Me?’s Richard E. Grant star. However, if you keep an eye on Bianca Del Rio’s social media, the RuPaul’s Drag Race champion is hinting she might have an appearance as well! (She was Hugo for a stint on the West End.)
