This is a certified all hits, no skips trailer round-up, so get some popcorn and take a seat.

The Last Of Us had a stellar first season that made us all feel a lot of feelings. The trailer for the second season just dropped, and we have a lot to look forward to.

In addition to returning cast members Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Gabriel Luna, and Rutina Wesley, we’re also going to see Catherine O’Hara, Kaitlyn Dever (Justified), Tati Gabrielle (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Danny Ramirez (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), and Isabela Merced (Alien: Romulus).

There hasn’t been an official release date set for The Last Of Us Season 2 yet, but it will be streaming on Max sometime in 2025. Get ready.

Ana de Armas joins the John Wick Universe in the upcoming Ballerina. Do we need this movie? Probably not. Is it a good story? Meh, it’s mid at best. There are a lot of classical ballet dancer assassins floating around out there. Are we all going to enjoy de Armas going violently Inigo Montoya on a bunch of people? Absolutely.

They had me at the flame thrower vs. fire hose fight.

Ballerina stars de Armas, Norman Reedus, Anjelica Huston, Togo Igawa, Gabriel Byrne, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick (RIP), and Keanu Reeves. It will premiere in theaters on June 6th.

I am a big fan of James Patterson’s Alex Cross book series. I enjoyed Morgan Freeman’s Alex Cross movies, too. I am very glad the franchise has been rescued from Tyler Perry by Aldis Hodge and Prime Video in the series Cross that starts next month.

Aldis looks fine in those suits. He’s joined by Ryan Eggold (New Amsterdam), Samantha Walkes (Orphan: First Kill), Isaiah Mustafa (Boy Kills World), Johnny Ray Gill (Underground), Stacie Greenwell (Mayor Of Kingstown), and Alona Tal (SEAL Team).

Cross premieres on Prime Video on November 14th.

In this week’s lagniappe, the trailer for Mr. Crocket has elements of Fat Albert, Halloween 3, The Ring, and something Jordan Peele probably dreamt about after eating too much spicy food. It could be good! Or it could just be weird. And there’s nothing wrong with that during Spooky Season.
