Just when you thought it was safe to summon dead sea beasts, here comes Ouija Shark. From the studio that brought us the bonkers yet pretty brilliant The VelociPastor comes a creature feature with a poltergeist splashiness and the tagline: You’re gonna need a bigger board.
What’s scarier than a shark? A ghost shark. Duh.
Here’s the official plot synopsis of Ouija Shark:
A group of teenage girls summon an ancient man-eating shark after messing with a spirit board that washes up on the beach. An occult specialist must enter the shark’s realm to rid this world of the deadly spirit ghost once and for all.
And we’re not the only ones excited for this genre-bending flick. Mike Flanagan, helmer of Doctor Sleep, The Haunting of Hill House, Gerald’s Game and Ouija: Origin of Evil tweeted his interest and regrets.
Okay, if I'm totally honest I AM kinda sad I wasn't considered for this one. Especially after Blumhouse vetoed my "Planchette is Like a Shark's Fin" song from the Ouija prequel… or the "Oui-quel"… HOW DID IT TAKE THIS LONG FOR "OUI-QUEL" TO OCCUR TO ME OMFG https://t.co/kDF90rASWD
