This morning Twitter was overrun by a brilliant and diabolical bit of social media marketing from Disney+. The soon-to-hit streaming service decided to show off its long, long, long list of titles culled from Disney and Fox slates in a Twitter thread. With each tweet, there was a new chance for this dominating force in TV and film to spread the word on Disney+. Because whether those retweeting were celebrating nostalgia or dragging Disney, a retweet is a retweet. Admittedly, there’s plenty of great titles from the MCU to Disney’s animated classics boasted in the Disney+ vault. Then there were the misfits, those weird movies you’d forgotten or somehow never heard of about to begin with.

Here are the most WTF titles to be offered on Disney+.

Let’s begin with a selection of “acclaimed actors in movies they hope you’ll forget.”

Between Taxi Driver and Foxes, Jodi Foster starred in:

Before he was Bond, James Bond, Sean Connery was Michael McBride in:

Long before she was an Academy Award winner or Captain Marvel, Brie Larson was:

We’d forgotten how much baby Kurt Russell owes to Disney.

Let us never forget the Don Knotts collection.

Or the negging animals cinematic universe.

And…whatever this is.

Last and maybe least, let’s file this one under “movies I thought were a weird childhood dream.”

Fun fact, Fuzzbucket was written and directed by Mick Garris, the storied screenwriter behind Hocus Pocus, Critters 2, and the 1997 mini-series The Shining.
