Robert Zemeckis’ adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Witches was supposed to hit theaters this month. However, like so much Tenet plans, things changed.
THR has announced the film, which boasts Anne Hathaway,Octavia Spencer, Stanley Tucci, Kristin Chenoweth, and Chris Rock, will go straight to HBO Max this month.

The Witches will debut exclusively on HBO Max October 22nd. Overseas, it’ll hit theaters beginning October 28.
