Universal has dropped a new, final, trailer for Halloween Kills ahead of its October 15th release date in theaters and on Peacock. Ignore everything you thought you knew about Michael Myers and his kill count. The previous sequels no longer apply. And Jamie Lee Curtis isn’t the only actor from the original thriller returning this time around.
Kyle Richards reprises her role as Lindsey Wallace, the little girl Laurie’s friend Annie was babysitting that Halloween.
Nancy Stephens also returns as Loomis’ former nurse, Marion Chambers — she was the one who drove Loomis to the hospital and was attacked by Michael in her car as he escaped.
The cast also includes Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy Doyle (Laurie’s babysitting charge in the original). Robert Longstreet has been cast as Lonnie Elam. He was a minor character in the original film, one of Tommy’s school bullies. Let’s not forget Judy Greer and Andi Matichak return as Laurie’s daughter and granddaughter, respectively.
As the days get shorter and the nights more spooky, I’m getting more and more excited about this one!
