I’ve been waiting patiently for the rebirth of the rom-com for quite some time now. It seems like Hollywood just decided to stop making them once 9-figure budget blockbusters and men in tights became the go-to box office record breaker. If nothing else good comes out of Netflix’s continuing domination of the streaming demographic, at least they’re putting some money into this oft-maligned genre.

Always Be My Maybe is an upcoming project from Nahnatchka Khan of Fresh Off the Boat, which she is co-writing with the stars, Ali Wong and Randall Park. Wong, whose two Netflix stand-up specials are absolute must-sees, will play a celebrity chef who runs into her former childhood sweetheart, played by Park. I’ll watch anything with these three names attached, but now they’ve added KEANU?!

Reeves, who is always and forever a stone cold fox, has just joined the cast, alongside Daniel Dae Kim, Charlyne Yi and Karan Soni (who you may have seen in Deadpool 2). Essentially, this has become the movie with the most attractive cast ever. Truly we have been blessed. Can we get all these people to just follow Keanu to the John Wick 3 set afterwards?

And now, please enjoy some pictures.
