Rejoice! Rejoice! The Sanderson Sisters are back!

The movie takes place 29 years after the original (it sure does!) and Winifred (Bette Midler), Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker), and Mary (Kathy Najimy) have once again been resurrected by a new generation of witches.

Hocus Pocus 2 also stars Doug Jones (The Shape of Water), Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl), Lilia Buckingham (Dirt), Belisa Escobedo (American Horror Stories), Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Tony Hale (Veep), Sam Richardson (Werewolves Within), Juju Brener, Froy Gutierrez, Taylor Paige Henderson and Nina Kitchen. The script was written by Jen D’Angelo, who has a few episodes of Young Rock and Workaholics under her belt. And it’s directed by Anne Fletcher, who gave us 27 Dresses, The Proposal and Dumplin’.

Get the black flame candle ready, this much-anticipated sequel hits Disney+ on September 30th.
